The Fachschaft Informatik (= student body of Computer Science) is a subdivision of the student body of the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and contains all students of the Computer Science Department. Its organs are the plenary meeting and its student council, the “Fachschaftsrat” (FSR).
The Fachschaft Informatik, whereby generally speaking the Fachschaftsrat and other actively participating students are meant, does not only represent the interests of students towards the Computer Science Department. It also works towards consistent improvement of teaching.

Outside of the FSR, there are numerous other volunteers who are involved in the day-to-day work of our Fachschaft.

The FSR is the annually elected body of the Fachschaft Computer Science that represents your interests.
Department Committees
There are student representatives on the faculty committees who represent the interests of the students towards the professors.
Student Committees
We are also part of other committees in which the student body of the entire university organizes and exchanges ideas.
